Red Lake Ogichidaag went to an off-season Robotics Competition this past weekend. We traveled to Fargo to compete at the STEM EXPO. We were selected as 3rd Alliance captain in the round-robin finals competition. We finished 3rd in the finals. Incredibly proud of how our robot competed against other area teams. We were looking forward to accepting new high school students as members of the Red Lake Ogichidaag Robotics Team 7235. Contact Mrs. Ketterling or Tami Liberty for more information.

We will have only high school (grades 9-12) volleyball practice this week 08.15.22 – 08.18.22. Practice will run from 3 pm – 5 pm in the middle school gym. There will be a bus to pick up players at 5 pm. If players need a ride, they should have their parent/guardian call 218-679-3512.
Our 9-12 grade students had the opportunity today to go and view the Wall that Heals, a Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica & Mobile Education Center. It currently is located at Chisolm Football Field through June 26th. They were also able to locate four Red Lake Nation members! This was an awesome experience for all students and staff who attended.
School may be out for the summer, but we are still celebrating our amazing 4th Quarter Honor Roll students here at the secondary complex! These students did an amazing job wrapping up their year. We can't wait to see you back in September!

SCRUBS Camp Opportunity!!!
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet, MN will be hosting an Indigenous Healthcare Career Exploration event for students entering grades 9-12. There is no cost for the program, and applications are being accepted through June 1st.
Students attending the camp will get to stay in the college dorms for 3 nights and explore careers in nursing, community health, midwife and doula, virtual reality simulations, PT/OT, flight nurse, dentistry, nutrition, and more.
