Cold weather is here! Please make sure your students are dressed warm!


Our staff and students are rocking their ribbon skirts this week!! All week we are celebrating National Native American Heritage Month by encouraging everyone to rock their ribbon skirts and shirts!





Attention all Red Lake Schools students and families: We will be having our Secure safety drill in partnership with local law enforcement agencies this afternoon at each of our school locations (Wednesday, November 20th). Today's Secure Drill is PLANNED.


Ms. Messner & Ms. Tara Graves' classes learned about the tree nursery on their trip to the Red Lake Fire Center! Both yesterday and today, our K-2 classes are visiting the Fire Center for a field trip.

Rock your ribbon skirts and shirts the week of November 18-22! In celebration of National Native American Heritage month, we invite you to join us in this opportunity to be united and celebrate tribal individuality while honoring our ancestors and indigenous people worldwide!


Reminder that there is no school on Monday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. Please enjoy the long weekend and we will see you back at school on Tuesday!

RLEC's Scrapbooking Targeted Services Class just got their scrapbooks!! They were so excited. Don't they look great?!






Check out these awesome projects made by students in the Grades 1-2 Targeted Services after school program at RLEC! Great job!!


Ms. Nordstrom's class made spider webs out glue and salt for Halloween!


Mrs. Reller's Kindergarten Class painted mini pumpkins in class! These were extra special - Mrs. Reller grew them in her garden for her students!


RLEC Attendance Incentives start Monday, November 4th! Earn both individual and class rewards for coming to school! Guardians, we need your help by making it a priority to help get your student(s) on time to school every day when they are healthy!


There will not be any after school activities at any of our schools on Tuesday, November 5th due to election day. Miigwech!

Reminder - there is no school on Friday, November 1 for students! Mark your calendars for a long weekend!


RLEC will NOT have Targeted Services or Clubs on the following dates:
-October 31 (due to Halloween and being the "Friday" of the week for learners)
-November 5 (due to Election Day)
-November 7 (due to P-T Conference day)

Red Lake Elementary Complex Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 7th from 3:30-7:15!
